Getting a bit arty with some photos of the tree ferns by the stream. Here’s a fun bit of nature trivia we recently learned about “Fern Fever”! 🌿

Fern Fever is/was a real thing! Pteridology is the study of Ferns, PteridoMANIA is the term for a fad from Victorian times, of using/collecting ferns or art and decorative objects featuring the Fern! This included all kinds of fashion and home-ware, spanning a huge range of materials incorporated in the designs. And of course, people started growing them in their homes and benefited from the fern’s ability to cleanse the air.
